Accidents
and Damage:
Your rental car will be inspected upon return and assessed against the signed
Vehicle Condition Report. If any damage has occurred during the rental you will
be liable to pay an excess, depending on the level on CDW you have purchased
beforehand.
In case of an accident:
The police needs to be notified immediately as well as the nearest Avis
location. Drivers should not admit liability at any time.
Furthermore, the driver needs to contact Avis and fill an Incident Report Form
for insurance purposes. Failure to inform the police and/or Avis may result in
the voiding of the insurance.

It is the responsibility of the renter for any traffic violations.

Driving in
Northern Cyprus:
The insurance provided by Avis Cyprus is valid for the areas controlled by the
Republic of Cyprus, and any driver wishing to driving to the north does so on
his on risk, or can ask for an extra cover for the occupied area at a small
fee.

Security and your
vehicle:
• Always lock your car when unattended.
• Do not leave any personal belongings in the car.
• Always park in a safe and well-lit area.
