What is
covered:
When you book a car for Avis Cyprus, the price you have been quoted includes,
by law, the basic insurance of public and passenger liability as well as
property damage to third parties. Additionally, most rental rates will also
include Collision Damage Waiver. You can check what insurances are included
when collecting your car.

If the rental car is damaged, in the case of an accident, this will
cover the cost of the repairs. In the event of damage you will however have to

|
This provides the driver of the vehicle (authorised by the terms of
the rental agreement) with a specified amount in case of accidental death or
medical expenses.

Age:
Drivers must be aged 21 or over to and have held a valid drivers licence for
at least 3 years. Drivers under the age of 25 will be subject to a Young
Drivers Surcharge of 5.50 per day.
Drivers over the age of 72 will
also have to pay a surcharge of 5.50 per day

Additional
Drivers:
Only the people who are explicitly mentioned on the Rental Agreement are
allowed to drive the Avis car. However, extra drivers can be added to the
Rental Agreement for 4.50 per day.
|
|
Special Equipment:
Baby seats and roof racks are available on request for 4.50 per day.
|
|
Fuel:
The car will be delivered with a full tank of petrol and the charge will be
added to you Rental Agreement and saves you having to fill the car up before
returning it. No refund will be made on fuel left in the tank.
|
|
One Way Rentals:
If you are planning to return your car at a different rental location, you must
inform us in advance. A one-way fee applies of 30.00.
|
|
Surcharges:
There is a surcharge of 9.49 per rental for all rentals at Larnaca Airport
|
|
Out of Hours:
At some locations, it may be possible to pick up or return your car outside of
Avis opening hours. Please check with your Avis location as charges may apply.
Please ensure you understand the waiver options signed for along with your
responsibilities in the event of vehicle damage and/or theft.

to change without prior notice.
